About the Course

Our Division 1 Clinic is designed for Bantam, Midget, and Prep level players looking to elevate their game to the next level. This clinic provides a comprehensive training environment that focuses on advanced skill development, tactical understanding, and high-performance conditioning. Led by experienced coaches, players will refine their skating techniques, puck handling, shooting accuracy, and game awareness through a combination of on-ice drills, scrimmages, and dryland training (If there is demand for it).

Participants will work on:

  • Power Skating Techniques: Focus on stride efficiency, edge control, acceleration, and balance. Includes backward skating, lateral movement, and transitions to improve mobility in game situations.

  • Puck Handling and Control: Advanced stickhandling drills that challenge players in tight spaces, with an emphasis on control at high speeds and during pressure situations.

  • Shooting Techniques: Specialized drills for wrist shots, snap shots, slap shots, and one-timers. Focus on accuracy, quick release, and shooting in stride.

  • Position-Specific Training: Tailored drills for forwards and defensemen, with attention to positioning, angling, gap control, and offensive/defensive zone play.

  • Small Area Games: High-intensity competitive games designed to simulate real-game conditions in tight spaces, developing decision-making, quick puck movement, and battling for possession.

  • Situational Play: 2v1, 3v2, and other odd-man rush situations, focusing on offensive and defensive tactics, puck movement, and positional awareness.
