Whether your child is a beginner or has some experience, this program provides the tools and knowledge they need to enhance their performance.

Key Components:

  1. Skating Fundamentals:

    • A strong skating foundation is vital for any hockey player. Participants will work on stride mechanics, edge control, and agility through a series of engaging drills. Emphasis will be placed on both forward and backward skating, ensuring players develop the speed and balance needed for effective gameplay.

  2. Positioning and Game Awareness:

    • Understanding positioning is crucial for both offensive and defensive play. Coaches will teach players how to read the game, maintain proper positioning relative to the puck and opponents, and make smart decisions in fast-paced situations. This knowledge will help them become more effective teammates.

  3. Puck Control:

    • Players will enhance their puck handling skills through targeted drills that focus on control, deception, and quick movements. They’ll learn to maneuver the puck under pressure, improving their ability to make plays and maintain possession during games.

  4. Shooting Techniques:

    • Effective shooting is a key component of scoring. This clinic will cover various shooting techniques, including wrist shots, snap shots, and slap shots. Players will practice shooting for accuracy and power, ensuring they can capitalize on scoring opportunities during games.
