  1. Proper Stride Mechanics:

    • Participants will learn the intricacies of an effective skating stride, emphasizing power generation and efficiency. Through targeted drills, players will refine their technique, allowing them to maximize speed while maintaining balance and control.

  2. Edge Control Mastery:

    • Understanding and utilizing edges is crucial for effective skating. Players will engage in exercises that teach them how to transition smoothly between inside and outside edges. This skill is essential for making tight turns and maintaining stability during rapid movements.

  3. Balance Development:

Ryan Kavanagh

Ryan Kavanagh is a former Canadian ice hockey defenseman who had a notable career across various leagues, including the QMJHL with Rimouski, Austria's EC Red Bull Salzburg, Germany's DEL, Norway's Tønsberg Vikings, the UK's Braehead Clan, and Italy's HC Pustertal Wölfe before retiring in 2016. Kavanagh was recognized for his playmaking abilities and defensive skills. Since retiring, he has transitioned into coaching, focusing on skill development with over 100 professional players, and has held key roles in hockey programming and elite player development at various academies. His coaching emphasizes strong defensive and offensive fundamental skills, contributing to his respected status in the hockey community.
